University of Victoria Foundation reports CAD 612.5 million in main Investment Pool assets at March 31, 2026. Balance source
Victoria Foundation's 2025-26 report lists CAD 612.5 million in its Main Investment Pool at March 31, 2026. The report states that this pool includes CAD 35 million disbursed from the university. The separate Fossil Fuel Free Investment Pool holds approximately CAD 2.1 million. These investment vehicles are not combined into a single endowed-net-assets estimate. Official report

The USD 440.877 million FY2025 figure follows the survey's respondent, University of Victoria Foundation. The legal filer discussed below can have a different accounting perimeter. Endowed accounts may include both donor-restricted resources and amounts designated for long-term use by a governing board. Investing those accounts together does not remove their spending restrictions. The prior-year USD 431.710 million figure supplies a second closing observation, after the effects of annual support and new gifts. Survey scope and definitions
The official CAD 612.500 million figure and the FY2025 survey's USD 440.877 million describe their respective dates and reporting categories. The official balance retains its stated label, main investment pool assets, rounded official value. The audit and survey use different reporting categories. Official financial scope

Actual Main Investment Pool allocation at March 31, 2026; CAD portfolio. Allocation report
The foundation approved a CAD 24.2 million budget for 2026-27, approximately CAD 0.6 million above the prior year. Spending rates of 4.0%, 4.5% or 5.0% apply to inflation-adjusted principal at cost, subject to each fund's market-value position. The prospective budget is separate from distributions already paid. Spending disclosure
University of Victoria Foundation's spending terms apply to the base specified in its disclosure. A policy percentage cannot be multiplied by the survey's closing value without checking the averaging dates and eligible accounts. Appropriated resources also retain any donor restrictions when moved from the investment pool to a spending account. Spending measures
Victoria Foundation's Board oversees the foundation's investment and endowment-management policies. The annual report identifies service providers for fixed income, global equity, real estate and infrastructure. Its Main Investment Pool and Fossil Fuel Free Investment Pool have separate performance and asset disclosures. The university publishes its own financial statements. Investment governance
Public Law 119-21 changed Section 4968 for tax years beginning after December 31, 2025. Applicable private institutions must have at least 3,000 tuition-paying students in the preceding tax year, with more than half located in the United States, and student-adjusted endowment of at least $500,000. The rates are 1.4% from $500,000 through $750,000 per student, 4% above $750,000 through $2 million, and 8% above $2 million. Enacted law, Section 70415
University of Victoria Foundation is a Canadian institution. The U.S. private-college schedule does not classify its Canadian endowment as a U.S. private-college portfolio. Its Canadian fiscal-year balance and the survey's U.S.-dollar conversion also use different currency conventions. No U.S. institution-specific tier is assigned here.
The tax applies to net investment income; the statutory asset and student definitions determine applicability and the rate.
The U.S. NCSE size-band averages are based on U.S. respondents. This Canadian institution is outside those published comparison groups. The historical dollar series above follows NACUBO's conversion convention; a Canadian investment return follows its stated portfolio currency and fiscal year-end. An April or March reporting period does not match the U.S. June 30 endpoint. Currency and date alignment are needed before comparing percentage performance. NCSE universe and return periods
NACUBO's respondent is University of Victoria Foundation. Annual financial statements and any nonprofit return can cover a different legal entity or a wider group of resources. A university, a supporting foundation and an investment pool can each report its own assets. Total organizational assets also include resources outside the endowment, and the tax-return accounting period can differ from the survey's reporting year. Those distinctions govern how public records are compared. Respondent identity

Endowments are some of the most studied investors in the world, and the numbers are scattered across financial reports, press releases and student newspapers. This site puts each endowment's figures in one place, from its own reports first, names every source, and says plainly when a number has not been published.
We run 16 in-person events a year, 4 Super Summits and 12 masterminds, in NYC, Fort Lauderdale, Dallas, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. 300 of them over 19 years.
"The Family Office Club is unique as a community. The thing I admire about you is that you started with your family, making that a priority."

Each fact names its source and its date. When two sources disagree, we show both. When an endowment has not published a number, we say so.

Practical guides for raising from, working with and running endowments. Each one is being written now and will publish here, free.
Tell me what you are raising for. I will tell you which endowments look like a fit, and which rooms are worth being in. I read these myself.
Correct it or claim it. It is free. Send the page, the change and a public source, and we will update it and note the date.
For board members, investment committee members, donors, students and journalists. Every profile shows value, return, spending and allocation with the fiscal year and source next to each figure.
Each fact names its source and its date. We start with the institution's own financial report, investment office report and press release, then official filings, then third-party reporting. Figures are tied to a fiscal year, because most endowments report once a year. When two sources disagree, we show both. When an endowment has not published a number, we say so rather than estimate it silently.

I started Family Office Club 19 years ago at 26, as my 12th startup and the first one that worked. All three of my daughters are in the business with me now. My father raised $1 billion for non-profits before I ever started, so I grew up watching this.
Since then: 300+ in-person events, 1,500 investors on stage, 250+ family offices created or formalized, 46 transactions off my own balance sheet, and CIO of a $180M single family office.
I am not a broker. I am not a bank. I do not charge for anything on this site. I built it because endowment figures are spread across hundreds of reports and press releases, and few places put them side by side with sources.
