Meet Our Team
Richard C. Wilson
Richard C. Wilson founded the Endowment Fund Association (EFA) and is CEO of Richard Wilson Capital Partners, LLC where he works with alternative investment funds and institutional investors daily. He has worked with alternative investment firms, institutional investors and capital raising for over 7 years and has provided consulting advice and services to over 1,600 firms during that time. Richard is a bestselling author of The Hedge Fund Book: A Training Manual for Professionals & Capital-Raising Executives and The Family Office Book: Investing Capital for the Ultra-Affluent (Wiley Finance Series).
Richard has spoken over 50 times in 15+ countries around the world, and these travels and resulting relationships have led him to share stages with prime ministers, dinner with a prince, and a wedding ceremony for a royal family in Europe. He recently chaired a full-day 300 person conference in Zurich and acted as Opening Day Chairman for GAIM International, the alternative investment industry’s largest and oldest conference in Monaco. Richard has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Oregon State University, an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Portland, and he has completed masters level research and coursework on the psychology of influence at Harvard University within their ALM department.
Charles B. Wilson
Charles B. Wilson helps develop many of the Endowment Fund Association’s resources from audio interviews to training materials and video content. Charles helps produce and edit training videos, video recordings of team member speeches at conferences, audio interviews and other multimedia resources. Charles has spent time recently helping us produce new training resources and improving the overall experience at Endowments.com.
Charles has extensive training in audio and video production. He graduated Cum Laude from Portland State University.
Theo O’Brien serves as Managing Director at Richard Wilson Capital Partners and the Endowment Fund Association (EFA). At the Endowment Fund Association, Theo manages all areas of Endowments.com including member services, CIO Article content and conferences, and working with endowment fund and endowment fund managers to provide visitors with a great experience and the highest quality of service.
Theo brings to the team several years of experience in alternative investments, business strategy and marketing. He has written many articles, researched industry white papers and produced many videos focused on the endowment fund industry. Theo also serves as Managing Director at Richard Wilson Capital Partners, a third party marketing firm that connects alternative investment firms with institutional investors and family offices. A native Oregonian, Theo holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Oregon.
Adriana Albuquerque is responsible for assisting our Endowment Fund Association clients and helps with on-site coordination of our workshops and events. Adriana works to assure that our clients are satisfied and that we are always finding new ways to deliver value. She also assists Rafael with his ongoing research on the private equity industry. Adriana obtained her Bacherlor’s Degree from Harvard University.
Tyler McNicholas serves as the Director of Business Development and Marketing for the Endowment Fund Association team. Tyler helps us form new partnerships that ultimately improve the client experience at Endowments.com.
Tyler also works hard to create new content, maintain our high quality standards, and make sure that our clients receive great service from the Endowment Fund Association. Tyler’s background is in marketing, sales, and client services and he holds a Bachelor’s degree from Western Oregon University.
Douglas Scott serves as Endowment Fund Association Director. Doug will most likely be your first point of contact at the Endowments.com and the Endowment Fund Association, where he works hard to constantly improve the client experience, and maintain our high quality standards.
Currently, Doug is helping us release new articles and a new book on endowment funds, and has been involved in the rapid expansion of our conferences and training divisions as well.
Angela Malone is one of our Endowment Fund Association Research Associates. Her primary responsibility is researching endowment funds, industry statistics and trends. Angela is in charge of producing and distributing our print materials and newsletters. She also assists in the marketing and promotion of our endowment fund workshops and events.
Angela joins the Endowment Fund Association after a career as the Communications & Charitable Giving Specialist at Leupold & Stevens, Inc.
Rafael Tassini is one of our Endowment Fund Research Associates. Rafael has been conducting research for the Endowment Fund Association and related work for years. Rafael is trained in research, analysis and capital raising and continues to help our team improve our products and services each year.
Rafael is always creating and researching new areas of the endowment fund industry. Rafael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Business from Universidade Paulista.
